Venetian Spritz Aperol Recipe
Venetian Spritz Aperol Recipe. The spritz recipe varies in the different cities of veneto. Garnish with an orange wedge & a green olive.
Usually, it's enriched with a slice of orange. Add two tablespoons or one ounce aperol. Traditionally the white wine to prepare the aperol spritz is sparkling.
2 oz prosecco 1½ oz aperol (.or some other bitter)
The liquer traditionally used is aperol, but recipezaar would not recognise this. Wonderfully refreshing on a hot summers day, the aperol spritz is a venetian classic. Build the ingredients in a rocks or wine glass, over ice, and add the garnish.
The recipe of the spritz veneziano documented by the iba (international bartenders association, for those of you who didn’t know that…) is as follows:
Traditionally this spritz cocktail is served in a wine glass with a few ice cubes, but as i said before, feel free to use any stylish glass to capture the perfect instagrammable moment, and a large ice cube does the trick. Add ice, prosecco, dash of seltz and top with aperol. This is to avoid that the aperol settles on.
Wrap the zest around a thin pencil or chop stick and press to make a spiral.
Garnish the glass with the olives and orange slices. Build all ingredients into a wine glass filled with ice. Add 6 ounces prosecco and orange spiral.
Spritz with select (select pilla) spritz al'aperol spritz al bitter (with campari) spritz con cynar ( the artichoke liquor) ingredients:
Fill remainder of flute with prosecco. If you prefer a more bracingly bitter spritz, try splitting aperol with campari (1:1). Into a champagne flute, pour the aperol and blood orange juice.
Pour in the prosecco, then the aperol, and top it with as much, or as little, sparkling water as you like.
I love that this drink is so easy to. Garnish with an orange wedge & a green olive. How to prepare the perfect aperol spritz?
